Seasons change. 

Kids grow into men and women.

Azaleas fill most streets and yards in Mobile, AL in the spring.

Yet we got a text from a friend who had snow in Oregon just the other day.

We are all in different seasons of life at any given time.

What connects us? 

Thank God for holidays! Many times, holidays connect us.

I’m not sure if you are in a place where you look forward to holidays with family or dread it. Maybe you didn’t get to see all your family this Easter. One of mine is missing from this photo because he is away at college. If you are missing someone you love, I pray God comforts your heart like only He can. 

Whatever season you are in, look for all the beauty in it. There is beautiful snow even in the dead of winter. There are Easter eggs and beautiful bunnies in Spring and of course the real meaning of Easter that also signifies new life, Jesus. Then summer is filled with fun times by the sea.

The fall is my husband’s favorite with all the pretty leaves and perfect weather. 

I hope you hop right from one season to the next with the joy that is set before you and helps you endure whatever difficulty you may be in right now. I think I have always been so focused on what’s next that I stopped asking 

WHAT’S NOW?

Yea, we gotta look to what’s next and that will never be a problem for you if you’re like me, but also I encourage you to stop and “smell all the pretty  roses” that are popping up everywhere in this spring season…both literally and figuratively. 

Hope your Easter was filled with love and laughter and if it wasn’t that you find love and laughter that is all around you and choose to embrace God’s love that will restore your laughter. Look up! That’s where our help comes from! Keep hopping and take notice of What’s happening NOW. Take it in. Enjoy. Then trust His grace to move you from season to season. His grace is sufficient.
