Tonight I was blessed to be in a room full of amazing ministers. We were poured into by Pastors David and Nicole Crank who have so graciously created a beautiful space for many of us to develop friendships, seek God together, and learn so much from them and each other for years now.
So many nuggets of wisdom were shared today that equipped us for this season we are in. We encouraged each other, laughed together, and most of us shed a few tears in the sweet presence of God. I left our day today so full as always when I am with these mighty men and women of God I hold so dear.
So I wanted to share with you a take away that may spur you to step up and step out and be bold. We had a time where we all prayed for each other. You would think, well, that should be easy for all of us. We sort of do this for a living in a sense. But I found myself hesitating at first. Then I sensed the Lord give me something for someone so I chose to be bold and go and share it. Several did the same and prayed over me, also. It was a beautiful sight.
What does this have to do with you and being bold to step out. Well, here is the thing…none of us hear perfectly from God all the time. We may miss it from time to time, but that doesn’t mean to back down. Just like they are called practicing physicians, we are practicing His presence. So be bold, step out, and endeavor to hear from God and even if you “miss it” or don’t hit the nail right on the head, the best of us get it wrong sometimes. But the more we practice His presence, the more accurate we are in the things of The Spirit.
So often, it’s easy to be emotional and pray or speak over people after things we know in the natural but when we peel back our emotions and learn how to truly hear from the Spirit of God, prophesy and spirit led prayers can become anchors for people, and arrows in their quiver. So don’t shy away from being bold and stepping out to pray for people and as God leads, share it with them. You may miss it here and there, but the more we practice His presence, the more precision in the spirit we will operate in. And the bigger blessing we will be to people.
Who will you pray for and even prophesy over this week? Not in a weird, super-spiritual way. Prophesy is just simple edification and uplifting. We can all desire to be used in this way by God to build eachother up. Now, I’m not talking about prophelying like my boys call it lol But I am talking about knowing God, knowing His heart, and sharing it with those in our lives as God leads.
Let’s purpose this week to live a spirit led life this week with those we love.
Happy Monday!
