Happy Thoughts Part Two

It’s the most wonderful time of the year🎶🎵🎶…so the song goes and for some, it is. 🎄⛄️Others, not so much. 

Then again, what part of the year is wonderful for some who struggle to be happy mid July with the sun shining bright at the beach☀️🌊 with family and a life many would die for back home waiting for them to return? Relate? I thought ya might.😜
Well, I hope this minute or two ⏰ will resound in your mind to produce happy thoughts for years to come and help break the cycle of negativity that has thrived for years up to this moment in your head!!💬 

Here’s the answer in a nutshell to happy thoughts.😃 “Think on things that are lovely, pure, and of good report…” Scripture tells us. So first of all, this eludes that we have the power to think on what we want to think of. There in lies the root problem for many of us. We don’t realize our brain is a muscle and we can train that muscle in a similar way that we discipline other muscles. 💪Wonder if our brain fitness became as important to us as our abs or bingo wings. The Bible says we will prosper and be in health even as our soul {mind} prospers. Wow!! ✨So it’s all connected to that space between our ears!!!!  💬We wonder why we aren’t prospering physically💃, financially💲, or spiritually💗? Try this: Think on things that are lovely and pure and of good report this week. Watch THAT alone cause your mind to prosper more than last week. Just put that tiny step 🚶in front of the other and watch the rest of your life begin to prosper in ways it hasn’t before. 🌱🌻

Ok so to break it down, next time you get off the phone and find out someone is doubting your character or you are driving down the road and your mind wonders off on what people think about you or why this person is not supporting you like you think they should {chances are its you-not them…but that’s another blog for another day} or why you feel like a failure constantly and how you can ever measure up, or how bout, gosh, if only I looked like her…yada yada. You get the idea, all the stupid thoughts that cause us silly women to spiral downward and need a chill pill!! What if, just what if⁉️ Next time that happens, you grab your brain by the Bible so to speak and say NO❗️I WILL NOT think those thoughts. Instead, I’m going to choose to think the best about that person or maybe even not think of them at all. {Boom! Now there’s a thought!😉} Maybe right now, I will think of what I’m cooking for dinner tonight and before you know it, that picture of a lovely meal with your family comes in your head and you envision all of you relaxing together after dinner laughing and maybe you recall tickling your lil ones until they squealed in delight last week {or decade😳} and wallaaaaa you’re happy! When I just typed those words, my mind went from all that yucky stuff above to these happier thoughts and I even felt better. I’m telling you, your thoughts CAN BE HAPPY! Now, go think happy thoughts and determine that this can in fact still be the most wonderful time of the year even for you. Don’t let the dumb devil steal that from you! Change the way you think about it, make it so in your mind and enjoy these nests few weeks and be #happyANYWAY! ❌⭕️😘 
PS…I’m praying for those of you who are struggling with this and hope you will keep reading the blogs and that you will apply each nugget each week until before you know it, BAM you do like I did and look back and realize, “Hey, I’m happy!”
