~Happy Friendships~
Happy Monday! Boy, have we had some happy times aboard the fun ship these last few days with the “Trimity”. These precious friends, Ed and Dana Trim, just blessed us with a cruise up the eastern seaboard into St. John, Canada that we will never forget.
I am writing this as we wait in line for a taxi to go do NYC. We have looped the globe flying in and out of NYC dozens of times doing missions work but Kevin has never stopped long enough to see the sights of The Big Apple…except from the windows above the clouds. What better way to see New York than with happy friends?!
We have laughed, eaten ice cream, watched movies under the stars and enjoyed shows. Most of all, iron has sharpened iron. These guys have spoken life in to us and I hope we have returned the favor.
When is the last time you spent quality time with friends laughing and only to go away a better person than before your time together? That’s a great gage of who to invest your time with, by the way. If it’s been a while, I encourage you to pray that God will send you the right friends, happy friends.
We have learned over the years as leaders to only hire happy people. If happy people are better hires then of course it stands to reason that we should choose happy friends. Guess what that also means? “They” should only choose us as friends if we are happy. Lucky for you, you came to the right place! This website if full of ways to help you find your happy!
Seriously, friends are such an important part of life and managing friendships is a graceful art. A friend sticks closer than a brother. Many can attest that over a lifetime, so many times this proves out to ring true. Lord, help us all be good stewards of the friendships You bless us with.
Some of my favorite memories have been laughing around a pool late at night with friends being silly, or sitting on the back patio with friends around the fire pit enjoying great convo. There will certainly be some memories filed away in that “favorite category” from these last few days and the coming couple days, I’m sure!
Find someone who you feel drawn to and show yourself friendly. Before you know it, who knows, you could be in NYC eating Pizza and walking through Central Park together! Happy Monday ya’ll! Gotta go. They are waiting on me and better go before they are not-so-happy with me! 😂lol XO
