This shopping is next level…literally!  All day I just kept thinking of Madam Blueberry from Veggie Tales. I have been to Stuff Mart. 

 

There are few things as fun as shopping with friends, laughing til you cry, and experiencing new stuff together. But to shop 3 buildings of 10-15 floors each?! Really?! And for days?! Yes, please, I think I’ll just keep shopping.

 

Guess what, girls? We are just being godly when we engage in such happy shopping from what I can tell. 😜 The Bible tells us that the Proverbs 31 woman is “like a trading ship that sails to far away places and brings back exotic surprises.” It also says “her clothes are well made and elegant.” 

Now that’s a great explanation of what is happening right now at the Atlanta Market. I hope you get to experience such shopping one day if you haven’t. I’m praying that for you right now! You may or may not have known that you even wanted to do this but I am telling you, you so do. 

Eh, Happy shopping, Proverbs 31… same thing, right?! Well maybe not exactly.

 

I know, this blog is sort of silly but seriously, sometimes the best thing you can do is a little retail therapy! Next time you feel the need for some, just remember – elegant clothes. It’s sort of your duty. 😉

She doesn’t worry about her family when it snows; their winter clothes are all mended and ready to wear. She makes her own clothing, and dresses in colorful linens and silks. Her husband is greatly respected when he deliberates with the city fathers. She designs gowns and sells them, brings the sweaters she knits to the dress shops. Her clothes are well-made and elegant, and she always faces tomorrow with a smile. When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly. She keeps an eye on everyone in her household, and keeps them all busy and productive. Her children respect and bless her; her husband joins in with words of praise: “Many women have done wonderful things, but you’ve outclassed them all!” Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades.
