This verse jumped off the pages to me and made me think about all the students going back to school this month. My two are starting high school, and college. For all of those out there having milestone type years or those who have children who are, there’s a mixture usually of excitement and the jitters. For all of you in the “Back to School mode” this is for you…

 

The verse above I hope can be a source of reassurance that if you will be honest & good & prioritze peace over stress, being honest with yourself & others, authentic and genuine about things ~ not “putting on” as if you are this or that but just be honestly you, it’s going to be a great year! Ok, but then how can you be sure the genuine you is good lining up with the character of your good God? I looked up the word good and it means to be desired or approved of, righteous, having qualities required for a particular role or of good to someone. According to scripture if you are a Christian, you are all of those –

✔️-approved of by God

✔️-righteous in Him

✔️-He made you qualified for your role He has called you to

✔️-When you choose to fulfill that call, you are of good use to others.

Woohoo! You could stop reading there and be off to a great start.

So be honest, good, and at peace and throw your hands up in the air!  Your wonderful future awaits you.  I love it when God just makes it simple. So simply focus on these 3 things at the start of this school year. Share this with your student if you are not the student and let us know how your wonderful future unfolds!

So do you love peace like Psalms 37:37 says or do you love drama? A wonderful future does not await for a drama mama but is peaking right around the next corner at those good girls and guys who love peace, & live authentically.
