Yesterday was my main most squeeze’s birthday and this was what I posted on social media….

Happy Birthday to this guy who is always laughing about something, being silly or saving the world… Or he might be playing soccer with the boys on Sunday league or trying to get me to stop working and go on a date. You might also find him walking his giant schnauzer Lucas or playing his guitar or writing a sermon. Most likely if you can’t find him, he’s taking a very long bath or studying the Word or praying.  If you go a long time without seeing him he’s either in India or you are getting a txt or call from him just when you need it the most. On Monday nights he takes out the trash. Whenever possible he’s up half the night reading or watching his awful shows I can’t watch with him cuz too guy-ish for me. He’s always dreaming, works far more hours than he lets on or that you would ever know about or imagine and is the most gentle, kind hearted fun loving guy you will ever meet. He is the love of my life and the best Dad I could have ever dreamed of for my boys. He’s so easy going but as I’ve heard another amazing man of God described….he’s a kind leader but don’t mistake his kindness for weakness. He knows where he is going and would love for you to go with him. But if you choose not to, he will choose God’s will over yours any day of the week and leave you in the dust if he is forced to choose. He is on mission. He is not a civilian in this world but a soldier under command of His Lord. He has clearer understanding of this than most. Love you, Babe, for who you are! Your gorgeous eyes and butt are just a plus!

Why would I make that post my happy Monday blog? Because if you are dating someone and are not fortunate as I am to have this kind of a guy in your life, RUN!!!! And ask God to help you find one. Don’t settle. If you are married and this doesn’t describe your husband, I would like to believe God with you. I have a heart big time for women who don’t have this kind of a marriage. My prayer on this Birthday week of my sweet husband’s is that every marriage represented by the reader of this blog will be enriched and that hope will be instilled to not quit or seek counsel or to get out if abusive or not to say I Do if not God’s will or to confidently say I Do to the right guy!
