Happy 2018!!! I hope you have the enthusiasm I have about this new year! So many I have talked to truly  have this expectation and hope for a bright future like I haven’t seen in a while….a twinkle in their eye, a pep in their step looking into this New Year. 

Not sure what your 2017 held. Mine held 60-80 hour work weeks which had something to do I’m sure with a few extra pounds as I stuffed my pie hole with whatever was nearby to get through many weeks. Just being real. 🤓 

But on a more positive note, this year also held the building of a most amazing team of volunteers and staff at our church who are ready to make it hard to go to hell in Mobile, Alabama. Our HC family is united like never before. Our culture is clean, healthy and filled with love, joy, and peace. We are rallying around the Vision of the House in ways that are causing true life change in us all and in those who are joining the fun and joining the family each week! Our leadership’s attitude is Anything, Everything, or Nothing at All. Our language is love and our accent is kindness. We are living out the reality of No Perfect People Allowed in the most beautiful life giving way I have ever experienced in 25 years of ministry. 

This year for us was also in some miraculous way along with such long work hours, a year of lots of precious family time. We spent loads of time as a family eating out mostly 😜 {spending way too much money on that but thank God for His provision} or going to movies or grabbing take out and watching Netflix, laughing in our kitchen, building fires, playing music, and taking soccer road trips. It was the year of the upgrade. as my husband proclaimed it would be, in many ways personally, relationally, spiritually, financially, occupationally, etc. 😍🤑😎🙌🎉👊🎈

Challenges most likely met us all, but I’ld like to encourage you to focus on the victories! If you experienced some sort of major loss or losses like I have in the last few years and maybe are still getting your equilibrium from it like me, let’s be about getting back On Track in 2018!! 🎆

The Word of the Lord my husband is proclaiming and I echo it is this—  

“On the right track! Full steam ahead! Like a locomotive!” I just L O V E that! Don’t you?!  So whatever bumps in the road you have faced or even steel walls, or if you have been flat derailed, I pray 2018 will be all about getting on the right track! And once you gain some momentum, it doesn’t matter what gets in your way, you can blow right through it! That is what 2018 is going to look like. Take this Word from the Lord and speak it often- even daily! Post it, share it, write it on your bathroom mirror in lipstick 💄! Do whatever you have to do to make it a reality in your life! Believe it. And let’s live it out together! We are in this together and so put your seat belts on and get ready for the ride of your life in the best kind of way! All aboard!!!! 2018, here we come ON THE RIGHT TRACK,  FULL STEAM AHEAD LIKE A LOCOMOTIVE 🚂
