1- Don’t give up! Did anybody notice last week was one of only a few in five years I didn’t send out a #HappyMondayBlog ? Not sure if it is good if you missed it or didn’t even notice. Either way it seemed liked defeat for me. But really it was a victory because we are trying new things and reconnected the blog to my new website. My team got it done in time for me to get the blog out but due to overwhelm of techy things and trying to get writing deadlines done, I just honestly did what this #1 says not to do and GAVE UP 🙁 and just didn’t face the “techy” challenges of learning the new way of getting my blogs out. Have you ever just thrown your hands up in the air and said “Forget it! I give up!” We all have but hey, as long as we don’t really give up, we’re good! And we’re not going to do that!!!

2- Don’t be impatient. Ahhaaa!!! And that’s exactly why I gave up last week and didn’t show up in your inbox. Even though I’m sure you cried over it, hey I’m back today with your Happy Monday encouragement. So today is sort of a blog about vulnerability and like – Hey me too! I get it. So this morning I thought I’m going to be patient and sit down and conquer this “tech” and get this blog out! And here it is. Vwaaalaa! Look what patience can do!

3- Be entwined with the Lord. Next thing I did was simply this….”Lord what could I say today in this lil note to my girlfriends whom I have no idea if they even open my love notes to them and read them but hoping that they do, how can I add real value to their week this week?”

4- Be brave and courageous and never lose hope. That was the theme of the verse above that a dear friend sent me this morning over txt and I thought as I entwined myself with the Lord by asking Him what to blog today, gosh! That encouraged me and gave breath to my soul. So I knew it would you too! Funny thing, last week another dear friend gave me a lion charm and a note that was also all about bravery and courage. I never like to be stingy with the things God gives me so thought Ild pass these along! The note is at the top of the blog for not only me to be encouraged by but also you! Take it as yours!

5- Yes keep on waiting for He will never disappoint you! So the significance of God having two friends give me these words from the Lord within a week’s time is that I am finishing up not one but two books and being given opportunities I’ve dreamed of for a lifetime. With all of this greatness God is throwing right in my lap, I’ve never been so tempted to be afraid, have anxiety and shrink back. The thoughts come to us all / Who am I to……? But what if I fail? Here is the common denominator in those two questions that strangle more dreams maybe than any others, “I” and so guess what?! Such great news! The end of that verse above says keep on waiting for Heeeeeeee won’t disappoint. I might. You might. But He won’t! Come on Somebody! Shout with me this morning and put on your dancing shoes because He is ready to take you for a dance of a lifetime! I know He is me and I’m getting dressed and ready, trusting in Him all the way and I hope to see you on the dance floor!!!!!!
