Ever been called out?

Paul called out women who weren’t getting along to work it out with each other in Philippians 4:1-3

Ever had to be called out? Ever had to call someone out? Ever felt that you had a call on your life from God?

When the Word talks about “callings” and giftings and in this passage about being “called out”, those words are from the same word.

This is so cool to me and my husband was just telling me about this. It made a huge impact on me so I wanted to share! Sharing is caring and so don’t let the sharing stop here!!! Pls share this blog out on social media and copy and paste the link and txt it out to Friends!

Here’s the heavy revvy as I like to say lol >>>> Those who are truly called by God are called OUT of sin and INTO the light. When we need to be called OUT because of poor choices, behavior, or habits, it’s up to us to cooperate and take steps toward the light of His Word that will rescue us out of darkness every time!

Those who won’t be teachable enough to be called out by God also won’t respond well when someone who loves them calls them out.

Here’s where this is golden information: Let’s say you need to call me out about something – it’s on me to change, to hear you and to be willing to be teachable. And if I don’t, that’s not your responsibility. It’s mine! Typically I will only be as teachable with you as I am with God.

Sooooo, let’s say it this way…….God called us all to come out of darkness into light and that was because we needed to be called out, we needed to change something in order to be in a healthy relationship with Him and so guess what that means? It means it’s healthy to call people out of darkness and into light. We are being godly when we do. Now He does it with grace and strength and that’s usually where we get it wrong….we are either too weak or too harsh often. If we are the ones being called out, let’s purpose to be teachable, coachable, and pliable with both God and people.

One thing I’ve noticed with people who are “called” by God but then won’t take being “called out” well, it’s because in reality, their calling with God and with people is on their terms.

Let’s challenge ourselves to be obedient to the heavenly calling and realize that many times what that looks like is being open to being called out from time to time from those who have our best interests in mind. It may not always be comfortable but it’s healthy. When we are healthy, we grow and when we grow we produce fruit! And then we are pruned again so we can produce more fruit. This is what going from glory to glory sometimes looks like. And this is where the good stuff’s at in life!!

Happy Monday!
