Our values determine the types of problems we have. The kinds of problems we have dictate the quality of our lives. Good values equal a good life.
What are your values?
Are you living out those values in the company of others closest to you who share those same values?
Bad company corrupts good morals…is still true. People in your inner circle will encourage you to be true to your values or challenge you to change your values. Good friends = Good values = Good life & the opposite is true.
The problems you face when you have a weakened value system become harder to overcome and spin life out of control sometimes so gradually that it’s hard to notice. Then one day, you look up and think, “How did I get here?”
Good news: The same is true in the positive!
I experienced the negative version of this in college. Thank God for His supernatural intervention that brought me back to my senses else who knows where I’d be. I know one thing. I wouldn’t have this amazing life I have the privilege and honor of living with amazing people in my inner circle who make me better.
I looked up one day, and thought, “Wow! How did I get here? I’m surrounded with the best of the best of friends and ministry co-laborers and publishers and authors and people who spur me on to all God has for me.
We are surrounded by genuine, loving, hard-working people who share our same values. This has created better problems to solve that are far more fun! Less drama, less crisis, less crazy. There are still problems but the only drama, crisis, and crazy I’m noticing comes from people who’s values are not good. Bad values = Bad problems = Bad life.
No thank you! I’ll stick to better values, better problems, and a better life! How bout you? If so, let’s do life together and let’s watch Him perfect everything that concerns us! Let’s live out of our values and pray we impact others to do the same!!
Happy Monday, y’all!
