Happy Monday! Let’s chart your course.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life…” — John 10:10
Guardrails matter. They protect you from crashing. But guardrails alone don’t tell you where you’re going. You can be protected… and still be lost.
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” — Proverbs 16:9
Many people spend their whole life trying not to fail but never clarify what they’re trying to build. Protection without direction still produces frustration.
The first and highest course-setting decision? Seek first the Kingdom of God. When His Kingdom is first, everything else falls into order. Not always easier — but simpler.
Agreement brings power. “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?” (Amos 3:3). Agreement isn’t sameness — it’s shared direction.
Your calendar, money, and energy reveal your values. If time is the stuff life is made of, steward it well. Pray. Write the vision. Make it plain. Review it weekly. What would need to happen by December 31 for you to say this was your best year yet?
Vision pulls you into destiny. Where there is no vision, people drift. You don’t drift into purpose — you step into it.
Guardrails protect you.
But your course determines your destiny.
This week: Seek first. Write the vision. Stay the course.
XO,
Adrienne
