Your HATE about their HATE is still HATE…and the vicious cycle continues UNTIL LOVE INTERVENES! And when it does, the vicious cycle turns into a VICTORIOUS one!!

No matter who wins on Tuesday, my fate is not in the hands of any man. God is my source and He is my refuge. Do I want more of 2020 for four more years? Nooooo thank you! So does it matter who wins this election? Yeeeeeessss, for sure! Do we all agree on who the “right guy is” NOOOOOOO. Is it clear that one’s views line up with the Word more than the other? YEEEEESSS! Is it true that if the one you like wins, all our problems will go away? Nooooooo!

Our politicians can be yo-yo’s. We can be yo-yo’s. But scripture says something about this—— Paul said,”I know how to be abased and how to abound.” Also scripture tells us to put our faith in God and not in man. I know how important this election is and I know how everyone is saying this could change America as we know it. America is already changed as we know it. And listen, if you follow me at all, you’ve heard me talk about cognitive distortions and you know that catastrophizing is my favorite one. lol Not really!!! It’s one that I am learning to kick to the curb actually. And I’m letting God comfort me even this week – Election Week 2020 – to know that He will still be my strong tower and the RIGHTEOUS run into it and we are SAFE. So before you get yourself all stirred up catastrophizing and “let something come all over you” (spirits of hatred) and go off on the “other party”, just let the Holy Spirit pour His peace out on you, calm you, and lift your eyes UP toward heaven which is where your help comes from. It doesn’t come from DC.

Now that’s one side of the coin and the other is this….Go VOTE! It’s our right. It’s our duty. It’s our privilege. It’s our voice. It’s our power. It’s our freedom at stake. It’s our honor.

I am praying for a miracle and ask you to join me – for many to be convicted even at the polls and vote scripturally, vote faith, and vote life! 2020 has been a small taste of Third World and if we don’t want years and years of this, we do need to vote the right way! But even still, NO FEAR! As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord with freedom or without it. My prayer is that our freedoms will be protected and that this great land we love will prevail this week. So let me encourage you to take thoughts captive. Don’t get in fear no matter what happens this week. Our faith is in the Lord and He will not fail us!!!!! No. Matter. Who. Is. In. Office.

But make no mistake about it, I will vote FAITH! And I hope you will, too!!!!

I will vote in LOVE & not in HATE. I will not allow my passion to get out of control and become just as ungodly as all the hate on the other side. And by the way, there is hate on both sides but there doesn’t have to be within us. Your hate for their hate is still hate. And hate kills, steals, and destroys. That is the side of the enemy. Jesus came that we may have life and life more abundantly. The kind of life we want and long for in our hearts. Love wins! But also, please realize Jesus was strong, firm and not a weakling. He brought a whip in and ran out the evil doers and turned over tables. Jesus offended people and yet he was love. Love has to be strong sometimes to protect. So this is the part that gets a little tricky. And that’s why it’s important to be born again and to know the spirit of God to be able to discern truth and real love. Love is a lot of things but it is action. Love does the right thing even when it’s hard.

Let’s hold on for the ride of our lives because where sin abounds, grace does much more abound. Whatever happens this week, I’m ready to love like I’ve never loved before and work in the harvest fields like I’ve never worked before and see the greatest revival break out like we have never seen before! When we get our eyes on the prize of the high calling, all this just becomes background noise and we know that we know we are where we are supposed to be and we will feast in the presence of our enemies understanding that no matter what, WE WIN!!!!!
