I hope you had an amazing Mother’s Day. My boys are home and it’s so wonderful having them both here.

My husband asked me to share the Word on Mother’s Day this year. Such an honor and I pray it was a blessing. I preached out of my new book Believe ANYWAY ~ how to THRIVE no matter what life throws at you!

What better message is there for Moms? I think of spit up and projects due tomorrow and library books that got lost, sports fees past due, finals that require all nighters because of waiting to the last minute to study. I think of play dates and the struggle with friends whose kids need to be disciplined more but it becomes awkward to discuss so then maybe distance of friends occurs because that kid cannot keep biting mine. I remember so many mommy memories that at the time were so hard but now I look back on with fond feelings of those days. In my current stage of motherhood, it’s all about what degree to get and college in California and both of the boys living out on their own, girlfriends and oh Lord, Jesus, please help us launch them well!! And God is it ok that I still stalk them on find friends not trying to check up on them but just because I miss them and somehow it makes me feel a little better seeing their little dot over there or yonder.

Whatever stage you are at as a mom I pray you enjoy this very stage you are in. Trust me. They are right. It goes by so so fast!! And also, if you are in a season of struggle, we’ve all been there but I wanted to share something so beautiful with you! This Mother’s Day both of my boys helped me in different very special ways with my message. I just wept in gratitude of them both being where they are with their walks with God. That’s all that matters to me. As long as their walls with God are hot and going deeper each day, I know they will thrive no matter what life throws at them. There is no better feeling than watching your kids thrive. I pray that you get to have this same wonderful feeling and satisfaction!! If your are in the faith and patience season, hold on, and I’ll be praying for you!!! God is faithful! I declare over your kids and mine that they will discover their destiny and they will accomplish all God has called them to do and that they will be exactly who He designed them to be! I pray they will thrive! We commit to believe ANYWAY no matter what it looks like and to trust in You, Jesus!
