Happy Monday ANYWAY!

What’s your ANYWAY today? For the joy set before you as scripture says, you will ENDURE this and that, too. Jesus was our example as He endured the cross for the joy set before Him ~ us! We were the joy set before Him. In all that anguish, you were on His mind.

There is someone on the other side of all of this anguish you’re going through you can focus on that will bring you joy.

Is there someone you need to call and hang out with that will bring joy or you can bring them joy?

Is there someone who is looking to you to see how you are going to navigate this? Be an example like the Bible encourages us to be even when it hurts. Even when you’re wrong and/or they’re wrong. Let LOVE guide your response.

I know you feel like you may break at times. We all do! We feel like it but what makes the difference in the ones who take a lickin and keep on tickin, is LOVE. Love never fails. LOVE thinks the best of others. LOVE is not touchy or fretful. LOVE is patient and doesn’t quit in the dip. LOVE presses toward the high calling in the hard times. LOVE repents and says I’m so sorry. LOVE changes and grows and keeps reaching for the goals in your heart.

Our hearts hurt. Our efforts come up short on who we wish we were but when that happens, don’t give up on yourself even if others do. Keep looking up! He sees you. He knows the cries of your heart. He knows mine and I hope you will join me in trusting in Him! Happy people trust in the Lord (Ps. 40:4) …even when we can’t trust in ourselves or someone we thought we could rely on. We let ourselves down and we let others down. Others let us down. But He is The One who remains FAITHFUL. He is LOVE! Our faith works by LOVE! So if you’re in a faith crisis, check your LOVE levels and read 1 Cor. 13 daily substituting the word LOVE with your name and ask God to do a work in your heart when it comes to letting LOVE rule the motivations of your heart.
We don’t always get it right but LOVE has a gentle way of guiding us, tweaking us, and creating in us a clean heart!
