Happy Monday Y’all!

During rocky times, I chose to think: “When all else failsI know I honored my parents, Lord, You promised me that it will go well with me. You have a mess on Your hands to work out on my behalf to keep Your promise, but I know You will because I trust You.”

Guess what the result of that kind of thinking is, girls? Check this out. “Happy are those who trust the Lord” (Psalms 40:4 GNB).

Maybe you didn’t honor your father and mother. If that is the case, ask for forgiveness and then grab a different promise in the Word. Hold on to it for dear life like I have this one; rest in his strong arms, and watch Him remain faithful to His promises.

Are there any areas in your life that you know you are not trusting God in now? Is this devotion inspiring you to trust Him once and for all? Is there something you’re worrying about right now that you need to give to God? Are you realizing that this is the moment to trust Him with it from now on? I encourage you to pick up a pen and paper or open your notes app on your phone and list it as an act of faith! As you write or type it, imagine yourself letting go and handing it to Him!
