First, who is God?

I sensed in my heart yesterday in worship that many don’t know God as El Shaddai and Jehovah Jireh for me to share with you WHO GOD IS when it comes to this part of who He is.

El Shaddai means
“God Almighty” or
“God All-Sufficient”

That means, according to His Word (that I choose to believe ABOVE what I see in my experience), when it seems like there isn’t enough, there actually is MORE than enough!

That means, there is allllll sufficiency for what is needed.  

Challenge:
Next time you look at your bank balance on your phone and the number needs another zero or two behind it, say to that number, “You are ALL sufficient.” If God is ALL SUFFICIENT, then that includes but is not limited to your finances, more specifically, your checking account balance and your savings balance, and your investment portfolio balance, your Real Estate deals, your business accounts, and on and on.

Outcome:
God wants you to have MORE THAN ENOUGH so you can get those shoes you want, pay those bills you need to pay, buy that business you know you are supposed to purchase, create that thing He’s calling you to create, build the ministry He’s calling you to build, and still be able to GIVE INTO EVERY GOOD WORK He leads you to sow into!

Who is God?

He is also
Jehovah Jireh:
The Lord will provide

So if it hasn’t shown up yet, if he hasn’t shown yet, if that relationship hasn’t been restored yet but it’s a desire of your heart and you know it is His will, the Lord will provide. He will provide in your finances, in your family, in your church life, in your friendships, in your career or ministry. He WILL provide so if it’s not done, He’s not finished so don’t grow weary in well doing. In due season, you will reap!

Who are you?

You are a child of the Most High God. You are Royalty. You are above and not beneath. You are blessed coming in and going out. You are called according to His purposes, not your own. Your life is not your own if you are born again and don’t think of that as an “oh well, I don’t get to do what a wanta do…waaaa, waaaa, waaaa…” Noooooo, it’s more like, “cool, all I have to do is what I’m told. I can do that. It kinda makes it way simpler when we realize, His will? His bill!”

When we know who we are and who’s we are, living on mission, the resourcing of our lives is no longer on us. It’s on Him. Stop carrying stuff that’s not yours to carry. If and only if you are walking with God, living out His purpose for your life, then it’s a whole lot easier to KNOW Him as Jehovah Jireh and El Shaddai.

So are your bills the problem and your lack the real issue or do you need to get to KNOW Him more and become more acquainted with who God is and who you are in relation to who He is?

Let’s look to Him with greater expectation and with greater willingness and obedience to go where He calls us to go, stay where He’s called us to stay, say what He’s called us to say and give what He’s called us to give (of our time, talent, and treasure!)

Let’s BE  WHO WE ARE & TRUST GOD TO BE WHO HE IS!!!
