We just left our youngest whom we love in Cali and are literally headed straight into New Orleans at the same time that a hurricane/tropical storm is suppose to be hitting that area.

I was thinking about this and like why in the world would we leave who we love and go straight into a storm? Because it is his calling to be there and our calling to head home to our calling.

The whole way home so far when we tell people where we are headed, they ask us, “Isn’t that right where the not one but two hurricanes are headed? You’ve been gone this long and you are headed home on the exact day it’s suppose to hit? Yep! You know it!

God’s will doesn’t always make sense but in His will is the safest place you can be.

Today’s blog is short because I’m writing it in Denver, CO at 1am in the middle of this journey toward home. And also because the point is really simple. Don’t overthink what God is calling you to do. Obey Him even if it seems like you are headed straight into hardship. He knows what we want more than we do. He sees the end from the beginning. He goes before us and preparers is for what He is calling us to.

Happy are those who trust the Lord. Ps 40:4

I’ll pray for you and you pray for me as we head into all God is calling us to!
