All God ever requires of us is simply who He made us to be. Stop thinking you have to be more this or less of that. If we wait to be exactly how we wish we were, we would join the masses in making no real difference in this world.

Ask yourself these questions to locate if you are living out “such as I have, give I Thee” :

1- Am I going for it in-spite of my weaknesses?

2- What weaknesses can I do something about making them into strengths? Set goals with deadlines and draw a line in the sand in some areas with yourself to change what needs to be changed once and for all. Be done with some things.

3- What are your strengths that you have identified and what 3 action steps can you take this week to capitalize on those strengths in order to make a difference in someone’s life? Journal this.

4- What lies do you need to intentionally ignore that come to you to make you second guess yourself and stop you in your tracks? Write them down, face them, and rebuke them never to believe them again.

5- Now that those 4 steps are all done, GO FOR IT UNASHAMEDLY flaws and all! Authentically go for it with such as you have. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Will you make mistakes? Will you look like an idiot trying sometimes? Will you fall flat on your face? Will you feel naked and ashamed due to being honest about where you are living with real authenticity? Will you not measure up when not if you compare yourself to her or him? Will you make progress and hit the mark in ways you never dreamed possible? Will you make a huge impact on people’s lives having a blast most of the time while scared out of your mind some of the time? Will you finally live the life you were destined to live? Yes! Yes! Yes to all of it.

This world is too dark for us to not show up, even though we mess up. Take the pressure off and just repeat after me – “Such as I have, give I Thee! Nothing less. Nothing more.”
