You gotta LET IT RING! What does that look like?

Do Not Rob God

⁸ “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.
⁹ You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
¹⁰ Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

¹¹ “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the Lord of hosts;
¹² “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

Malachi 3:8-12

I’d like to propose something to you. Read that passage of scripture backwards starting with verse 12 going back to verse 8. Notice that this suggests that perhaps IF we had churches full of tithers and givers, we would not have streets full of robbers and takers. Our nation would look a whole lot different than it does. Why? Because churches are the hope of the world so of course the enemy would like to keep people from giving to the force in the earth God has chosen to bring blessing into our world.

Now you tell me why our land is in the shape it is. Why do we have leuters in the streets? Maybe because we have leuters in the church every Sunday. I know it’s tight but it’s right as I grew up hearing people say when a statement is strong. It’s time we circle back around to strong statements because we need to rise up as the church and overcome the darkness we see.

It’s time we let freedom ring in America! You want this great nation to be a delightful one again and for the world to call us blessed? Get your wallet out and become a tither and a giver to your local church. Serve, be the light of the world not just in word but also in deed. If every christian did these words I’ve just typed, the windows of heaven would pour out on our nation like never before and we would LET FREEDOM RING!
