Your Most Important Boundaries

What if you focused on these boundaries? Oh how life would change for the better!

Imagine with me a healthy, fit body, enough money to pay bills and extra for fun and to invest into the gospel as God leads you as much as you actually desire. A godly marriage, wonderful friends, happy children smack-dab in the middle of God’s will – no doubt. God has prepared a banquet of blessings for you…all this and whatever else is on your mind that you wished were so right now.

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” Isaiah 1:19

Everyone these days think throwing up boundaries about this and more boundaries about that to protect themselves from each other out of hurt and pain is the answer to having the life described above. But in reality, all these boundaries are just shoving you further and further away from what it is you are really after. The Bible says God is your vindecator and He is your rear guard. He does a much better job protecting us than we do ourselves. When we trust in His boundaries of protection He places around us like we talked about at Happy Girl 23 a couple weekends ago, we can let God sort of be our defense and we can run the race set before us on offense making serious yardage toward our goals!!

What if instead, we focused on these boundaries that are more on the offense going forward? Throw up your boundaries with Satan when it comes to sickness in your body and don’t allow anything less than divine health in honor of Jesus’ sacrifice at Calvary partaking of salvation that belongs to you because of the great price Jesus paid. Refuse sickness and be willing to live in divine health.

Be willing to receive all God has for you family and marriage. Stop settling for the norm. Refuse anything less than a home and family full of love and harmony. Determine that no matter what it may look like at the moment, “As for me and my house, we WILL serve The Lord!”

No more living in lack. Throw a boundary up when it comes to your finances and be willing to live the prosperous life Jesus procured for you. Jesus came that we may have an abundant life in every way. Refuse the allow the enemy to hinder the flow of financial blessings headed your way so you can have more than enough for you, your family, and for every good work God leads you to give toward.

Stop allowing Satan to sabotage your peace substituting it with anxiety and depression. Focus on this boundary realizing we do not battle against flesh and blood but against principalities and darkness we can not see except in the spirit. Sounds spooky but actually, the spirit world is more real than what we see and when we realize this, we will stop focusing on our boundaries with each other and do what the Bible says and focus more on our boundaries in the spirit realm. Be willing and obedient to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you. Be obedient to take thoughts captive and force them to come into alignment with Scripture instead of alignment with your sass and what feels good to go and give them a piece of your mind.

Here’s a boundary to focus on: Put up a boundary in your mind so that every time your flesh or soul or emotions want to be sad or mad or hurt or whatever yuckiness it tries to pull you toward, give it a front end alignment. Just like when your car hits a pot-hole in the road and starts pulling to one side, it has to be realigned. So do our minds when we hit a “pot-hole” in life. How? We renewit with The Word and we put up a boundary against sin and doubt and fear by yielding to the fruit of the spirit that all flow out of love which is the only thing that never fails.

Next time you feel like you may break and the tendency is to find someone to blame and throw up boundaries with, turn instead to the real enemy and throw up a boundary with that worm. You will begin to notice a healthier and healtheir YOU – spirit, soul, and body!

These are your most important boundaries. What if you focused on these boundaries? Oh how life would change for the better!

Happy Monday!

XO,

Adrienne

PS…I so loved Happy Girl Conference and am still buzzing from being with many of you and from what all God did in us! Live in the tent enjoying what all He has set at the table for us! How? Isaiah 1:19 is just a continuation of it all…be willing and obedient.
