Games, affairs, vampires, political agendas, blood in the streets, cyber wars, Artificial Intelligence out of control, conspiracy theories….

Depends on who you talk to on these:

Masks help against covid or do they really?……

Pandemic or scamdemic?

Vaccine or nonvax?

My rights or what’s right?

Is marriage the move or is commitment overrated?

Is church really about people or about the bottom line just like business now?

Are rappers and rock stars who preach the gospel to stadiums of thousands one minute and smoke weed and cuss and party the next, legit? Preachers too for that matter? 

What’s sin and what’s holy and what’s religious and what’s judgy? 

The scale is sliding. The line is blurred. The fog is thick. The sin is rampant. The anointing is strong. The lights are bright. The community is tight. The accountability is weak. The behavior is confusing.

The right seems hateful. The left seems lawless. 

The news is fake. The true north seems nonexistent.

The Boomers are dying. The Gen Xs are asking “How did we get here?” The millennials are trying to make sense of life and knock down the big bucks yesterday. The Gen Zs are lost and don’t care. 

What are you gonna do about all of this? What can I do? What is our next step as a nation, as a world, as a Christian, as a citizen?

What if we pray? What if we cry out to God? What if we say what the Word says instead of how it looks? What if we declare the Word and decree for life to come into these dry bones? What if we stop settling for far less than we are capable of? What if we breathe life to old dreams God has shown us? What if we refuse to let go of how God said it will be? What if we don’t take no for an answer? What if we contend for our kids no matter what it looks like? What if we do the same for our marriages and our broken relationships? What if we love hard and speak softly? What if we lay down our will and pick up His? What if the unseen world is more real than this one? What if our faith in God could help us discern the real from the fake? What if we believe God’s Word could help us divide between soul and spirit? What if direction could come easy and help us navigate the hypocrisy?

What if our healing is ours for the taking in Christ? What if the noise could be silenced in our heads? What if I told you ~ You. Can. Know. That. You. Know. The. Real. From. The. Fake. 

……..and this is how:

Know God ~ He’s the real! And He will show you quickly what’s real and what’s not! Stop trying to figure it out on your own. There are forces of darkness and God’s way of doing things are supernatural so it’s beyond you & beyond me! Look to Him! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! So if you feel unstable or rocked a bit from these last few years, hold on to even a tiny rope of hope and He will see you through to VICTORY! Real victory! 

Seek God with me these next few weeks as we fast and pray. Some things are only able to be overcome with prayer and fasting. All this we’ve been through and all we are up against is going to be defeated as we seek God and trust Him with our lives this month! 

Let’s goooo! Let’s get real with God and ourselves!
